Software Engineer at Microsoft. CSE @ IIIT-Hyderabad.
A GW-BASIC addition-program on my cousin’s laptop piqued my interest back when I was 12, and the fascination has held me ever since. In the decade that followed, through toy-projects at school, an enduring love-affair with Linux, various courses in my CS program at college, internships, and finally my job, I figured out that what I really loved was problem solving and extensive technical challenges.
I’m a Software Engineer with 4 years of experience in the industry. My professional experience is in cloud computing, covering various verticals from client-side command line interfaces to distributed systems at enterprise scale. I currently work in the Azure Backup team at Microsoft.
I received my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-H). While at the institute, I TA-ed two courses - “Introduction to Literature” and “Literature, History and Belonging in Hyderabad”, held the position of my Institute’s Student Web Admin for a year and a half, and worked in the Machine Translation and Natural Language Processing Lab for a hot minute. For two years, I was the Editor-in-Chief for Ping!, and was also involved as Head of Tech and Head of Events for the Entrepreneurship Cell.
I absolutely detest writing. Here’s some select articles that I’ve written for Ping!.
Here’s my blog.
